There is no online server. A developer post says you can trade offline by sharing a code, with no limit stated, and export a team to Pokémon Showdown.
The developer’s “What is GS Vitro” post says there is an offline trade system, no servers, no limits, and that friends trade by sharing a code. The same post mentions a Pokémon Showdown extractor for teams. I quote the scope and I do not stretch it into Wi-Fi battles or a global trade room.
The download page and the FAQ, both edited around release, do not repeat the trade system. That is why the status on this page stays “one developer post,” even though the wording is plain.
No version lock, no distance limit, no “both players need v1.0.2,” and no screenshot of a trade screen. If the trailer or a later post shows the menu, this page should gain that step. The available description establishes offline share-code trading; detailed steps require a later public guide.
