Pokémon GS Vitro will not open
The developer’s usual fix is the RPG Maker XP runtime. If the window still errors, set the language for non-Unicode programs to Spanish, then try compatibility mode and the audio driver.

If those four Windows steps fail
The download page asks readers to share additional fixes. The next useful place is the project’s own post, with the exact error text. A repacked zip from another site is not a fifth fix; the 31 October notice asked people to delete files from the lookalike host.

Questions
Which language should non-Unicode programs use?
Spanish. The developer download page specifies Spanish for non-Unicode programs.
Joiplay closes immediately. Is that a bad zip?
The FAQ says Joiplay is incompatible. A comment on the release thread reports the same crash. Use Kirin or NaviaXP instead.
Empo only shows one game.
That is the documented phone limit. Close Empo before opening another Ruby game.
