GS Vitro vs Pokémon Perseida

Same team, different game. Perseida Project makes both. Perseida is a Constela adventure with original species. GS Vitro is a Johto remake of Crystal.

What each game is

Perseida’s information page dates a first beta to 22 January 2017 and lists the current build as Beta 3.05. The setting is Constela, with signs, mana, and a lead named Perséfone. It describes more than 100 original species and regional forms, a level cap that rises with badges, and a link to Pokémon Edas. The same page lists community awards from Whack a Hack and Pokéliberty in 2018.

Vitro, released 30 October 2026, uses Johto, the familiar species, more than 350 obtainable Pokémon, 21 new Mega forms, Free Mode, and offline trade codes.

Questions

Is Vitro a sequel?

No. The pages present two projects. Perseida’s world is Constela. Vitro’s is Johto.

Does Joiplay run both?

Perseida’s download page mentions Joiplay and says it is untested. Vitro’s FAQ says Joiplay is incompatible. I do not merge those sentences.

Which Pokédex

The site’s Pokédex nav item is Perseida’s, not Vitro’s.
