GS Vitro vs GS Chronicles
Pokémon GS Vitro and Pokémon GS Chronicles are different games that both talk about an open Johto. Vitro is a Windows RPG Maker project. Chronicles is a FireRed ROM hack.
Side by side
If a video shows a GBA emulator, it is not this Windows game.

Why the names collide
Both projects use “GS,” both are set in Johto, and both had public milestones in 2026. A search for cheats lands on Chronicles because that is the GBA game. This site’s cheats page only explains why those codes are the wrong object for Vitro.

Questions
Which one has cheat codes?
Searchers usually want Chronicles, because it is a GBA hack and GameShark-style devices target GBA memory. The Windows game does not use the GBA memory format those lists target.
Which one has Kanto at launch?
Chronicles materials describe Kanto and 16 badges in a beta set for 18 Nov 2026. Vitro’s FAQ says Kanto is absent from the first version.
Vs Perseida
The other project from the same team.
Vs Perseida →Kanto
Chronicles is the one opening Kanto.
